Cyber Crime Cell and Vibhutikhand Police have succeeded in arresting three cyber fraudsters from Meerut. The accused had fled with lakhs of rupees by opening a luxurious office in Bilal Tower of Vibhutikhand. Vibhutikhand police had registered a report against unknown fraudsters.
Lucknow, Jagran Correspondent. Cyber Crime Cell and Vibhutikhand Police have succeeded in arresting three cyber fraudsters from Meerut. The accused had fled with lakhs of rupees by opening a luxurious office in Bilal Tower of Vibhutikhand. Vibhutikhand police had registered a report against unknown fraudsters.
Cyber Crime Cell Inspector Ranjit Rai said that Khairati Khan Mohalla and Mushir alias Rehan Amethi Mau Darwaza, resident of Meerut, Faizan Ahmed Khan, besides Mohd, resident of Bramhapuri Tarapur D-Block in Meerut. Yunosh alias Munir has been arrested. Clothes, mobile phones and papers worth Rs 20 lakh have been recovered from the possession of the accused.
During police interrogation, the accused told that the manufacturers and wholesalers used to take the mobile numbers of the clothes traders from India Mart. He used to contact local gullible traders. They used to give fake checks on the pretext of taking goods worth crores. They used to claim to pay full money on the sale of goods. But if 40 to 50 lakhs became equal, then they used to close the office and run away. The victim told that the accused had opened an office in Vibhutikhand area. After that they cheated and ran away.
Used to sell clothes at half price: In the interrogation, the fraudsters have told that after cheating, they used to sell these branded clothes in Meerut for half the price. There was no doubt about it. Police is also looking for his other associates.
