According to the latest information received, after the purchase of coaches by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to provide better facilities to the passengers, now the Metro of Yellow (Samaypur Badli-HUDA City Centre) and Blue Line (Dwarka Sector 21-Noida Electronic City) It has been converted into an eight-coach train.
In such a situation, on the busy corridors of the Rail Line and Blue Line Line, now only eight-coach metro is filling the speed. DMRC says that now the work of converting all the Metro of Red Line into eight coach trains is going on.
Between Rithala to New Bus Adda Ghaziabad on the Red Line, only six-coach metro is currently filling the speed. There was a plan to convert all the metros of this corridor to eight-coach metro by June itself, which has not been completed yet.
At the same time, DMRC officials say that two extra coaches each have been added to the two metros of the Red Line. Soon both these trains will be dropped on the Red Line. Apart from this, other 37 metros of Red Line will also be converted into eight-coach metro in a few months in a phased manner. This will make the journey of the passengers easier.
According to the information received, DMRC has purchased 120 new coaches. Under this, the last consignment of 77 new coaches had reached Delhi in February this year, so that all the metros of Yellow, Blue and Red Line could be converted into eight coaches.
